【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationisfortheuseandguidanceofthosewhopurchase,design,construct,install,approve,ormodifygenericvaultstructuresintendedforprotectionofvaluablesagainstlossduetoforcedentry.1.2Thisspecificationincludesthedescriptionsofterms,classifications,materials,practices,andmethodstobefollowedinconstructing,fabricating,ormodifyingintrusionresistantgenericvaults.1.3Thisspecificationdoesnotaddressfireresistivity,nordoesitaddressmodularpanels.1.4Thisspecificationisnotintendedtopreventtheuseofsystems,methods,ordevicesthatprovidealevelofintrusionresistanceequivalentorbetterthanthatprescribedherein.Anysystem,method,ordevicedifferentfromthatdetailedhereinmaybeexamined,inaccordancewiththeintentofthisspecification,andiffoundtobeequivalentorbetter,maybeincluded.1.5Nothinginthisspecificationshallbeconstruedtoprohibitbetterorsaferconditionsthantherequirementsspecifiedherein.1.6Materialsandconstructiondetailsoutlinedinthisspecificationareintendedtodetailprotectiverequirementsnecessarytoachievetherequiredlevelofintrusionresistance,andarenotintendedtoaddressstructuralsoundnessoroperationalfitness,areasforwhichtheprojectengineer,architect,orequipmentsupplierareresponsible.1.7EachreferenceddocumentcitedinSection2shallbemeanttobetheeditionineffectonthedatethisspecificationwaspublished.Note18212ArationaleisgiveninAppendixX1.1.8Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.9Thefollowingprecautionarystatementpertainstothetestmethodportiononly,Section9,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
